Sir provides you with ample resources to succeed both in the cyber exam and in practical flying. I'd recommend using chair-flying and mnemonics for checklists, and hand-written summaries and flashcards for the BT textbooks. "Always expect the unexpected in aviation".

Aviation is a subject that requires the student to prepare for a multitude of reportable assessment items, ranging across all forms of examination of the student. The student must always be prepared and must continue to revise on many different areas of aviation. Year 10 Aviation Students -> Focus on theory and core principles of aviation if you wish to proceed into the Year 11 Aviation Program. Always stay on top of content and make sure you are well prepared. Year 11 Aviation Students -> Mandatory continues revision is an absolute requirement, both Aviation theory in Bob Tait Volumes 1 and 2 but in addition to procedures, charts, checklist revision and more for the practical unit. You will be assessed by the school but more importantly assessed by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in the final Cyber Examination which is your ultimate goal in Year 11 Aviation. Whilst the practical components (ie. Flying) is fun, there is a lot and I mean a lot required to stay on top and propel yourself forward.

Mr Arai is a character that is unique at St Kevin's College Toorak. He is energetic yet a firm and fair teacher. Do the work? And you will be rewarded with a teacher, no a mentor that will be there for yourself in the future. Dont do the work? Be prepared for a mental battle between yourself and Mr Arai, which has a win rate of 0% Mr Arai sets his expectations clear and high, but beyond that he will constantly check to ensure that you are at that level that he expects. He runs a very tight ship and will close off any leaks from students who are rude, ineffective and cannot maintain his standards. Especially factors that cannot be controlled by Mr Arai (ie. Weather Cancellations) Mr Arai has his inner committee of students who will have a high degree of trust and will ensure that his surveillance of his classes are properly maintained to find liars, leaks and more. Overall Mr Arai is one of the best teachers you will ever come across during your academic journey at St Kevin's College across Aviation, Japanese, Mandarin and Martial Arts. However I make it clear, you must be on his good side which simple to do (seek the above) 99% to enjoy his classes. For those who see Mr Arai in the future, he will not just be a former teacher, he will be your aviation guardian. Fly high aviators
