Actually read the material. Read it. Pretend you are the characters, and try to find out how you would feel and what you would do in those situations. Also, don't repeat yourself in your essay for example, don't introduce every quote with 'On page blah blah, character b said or did blah blah', introduce synonyms. get a damn thesaurus, and use it right. Also, do the homework. She ALWAYS checks. I've only gotten away with it once-- And that was because I was away when she collected it.
