I recommend writing down all the information, this teacher teaches more verbally and by writing down the information its easier for the knowledge to soak in. Sometimes the concepts he proposes are hard to understand immediately so by writing down the information it allows the mind to become more accustomed to his ideas. In terms of marking he is a fair marker and will give credit where credit is deserved. This teacher is open to questions but will expect you to know the groundwork of the subject.
