Make sure you write down everything she says, especially about essay structure because that's how it actually works, and other teachers will say it too.

9 English - As a student who isn't as talented in english as some other subjects, I naturally struggled in her class. However, the class tests and essays do follow quite a rigid pattern that has to be followed, so I would suggest taking as many notes as possible and obeying every single one.

Even though I wasn't the best at english, Ms Marshall still made an effort to help me learn, which has been quite helpful. | Also, this comment is from Yarra Valley Grammar, where Ms Marshall taught until the end of 2025. For any Haileybury students looking at this, the curriculum at your school might be different.
