She gives out tasks 5 minutes before the class ends so that you can't finish it in time, then she expects it to be done by the end of class and if not you fail

when writing essay's in ms dent's class, make sure to use the fact that she will help u strengthen ur essay (thesis statement and body paras), and use all the resources she gives (often stolen from other teachers, but good resources) to help write ur essay. in class she will do 'workshops' to help write the essay, and analyze the text in depth during class as class discussions. simply listen in class and your good to write! for poems you can still ask for help but she may assist less

my tip to get through this class would be to do all your homework the day you get it and hand it up the next do. miss Vivian has a bad habit of changing her mind about how to do the work a lot. she will change her mind about how to do the work several times. my last tip to get through this class would be don't take any sick days or holidays through her class. once i was sick for almost 2 weeks then went on a holiday for 3 weeks so that was 5 weeks i wasn't at school in a 9-week term and when i got back i had to do the task that we had started as i was sick and it was due in one day and it was a several week assignment and i got a d- for it i also got an E- for a diffrent assignment that we did while i was there
