Revise throughout the year. You will likely lose track of where the texts are going, and not know what is going on. It will be pretty easy for you to fudge your way through the year, but then you will massively bomb the exam, or spend SO MUCH TIME studying for it. He will want to have fun doing unrelated, unimportant things. Do not encourage it. Also, ALWAYS do your homework. You can never forget. He always assumes students are trying to dupe him, and will almost never accept an excuse for not doing homework, no matter how obviously legitimate it might be.
