don't take it too seriously. Definitely give it your all in your major because it's the opportunity for you to explore your creative talents. Paint, draw, create, or craft whatever you want to because it's your time to shine. Listen to the teacher's advice but don't feel bad for not changing your work to cater to their opinions. Art is all subjective and its beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Have fun!
